The 5th Anniversary Ceremony and Seminar of the Implementation of Regulations of Beijing Municipality on Technology Market was held in Beijing, China on November 21, 2007. Coway International TechTrans Co., Ltd. (operational entity of International Technology Transfer Center of Tsinghua University, in charge of operation of concrete technology transfer project) won Beijing Technology Market Outstanding Contribution Award.

Regulations of Beijing Municipality on Technology Market was adopted by the 35th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 11th People's Congress of Beijing Municipality and implemented from November 1, 2002 with the purpose of promoting technology transaction, keeping technology market in good order, guaranteeing the legal right of the party involved in technology transaction, driving technology advancement and economic development.

This is the fifth year since the Regulations was implemented in 2002. At the ceremony, 10 companies, including Coway, were granted awards by Committee of Education, Science, Culture, Health and Sports of the Standing Committee of the People’s Congress of Beijing Municipality and Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission for their outstanding contribution on technology transfer. Mr. Deyin Du, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the People’s Congress of Beijing Municipality and Mr. Anmin Sun, Vice Mayor attended the ceremony and gave important speeches.
