It’s our pleasure to announce that Patent License of China –PLC (www.chinapatentlicense.com), an online patent platform with thousands of China patents has been launched in May, 2008. Now the online PLC database is incredibly free to the public with an open patent searching engine. All the patents are developed by Chinese top universities and research institutions like Tsinghua University, Beijing University and Chinese Academy of Science etc.

PLC has both English and Chinese versions which take on different responsibilities for overseas and domestic clients. Since all the patents are screened and classified by Coway professionals with their marketing eyes for licensing and commercialization, PLC English version facilitate foreign clients to target technologies more accurately and faster. The Chinese version of PLC which will be available in the next months, aims to license our partners’ patents to Chinese enterprises to help them obtain marketable and industrial foreign technologies according to their demands. Based on PLC, customized services like patent sourcing, assist filling, patentee investigation and licensing etc. are also provided to promote IP cooperation. At present Coway Licensing Team are preparing to add more thousands of patents developed by the most influential universities, research institutions and R&D teams to PLC and since PLC is the first database collecting outstanding market-oriented patents from top research organizations in China, it is expected to become a more efficient Express for international IP collaboration between China and the world in the near future.
