ITTC was invited to take part in “2008 China Powder Industry Exhibition” in Beijing Exhibition Center. (It is part of “2008 Beijing Powder Week”.)

Following the market globalization and the regional industrial structure adjustment, the processing and high-tech industry have been developing rapidly in China, the demands of the powder, bulk technical and equipments have reached a prosperous period, the super-fine powder and its application also step into rapid development phase. All types of powder industrial materials processed by the powder technology became the important basis of new materials. On the other hand, with global shortage of resources and energy, it is urgent to save energy, reduce resource consumption and comprehensive recycling. Powder technology and equipment play an important role in this field, such as pulverization, sieving, separation, mixing, drying, transportation, storage and packaging. In order to promote the development of industrym comply with China government’s policy of saving energy, reducing energy consumption, developing recycling economy and expanding international cooperation, “2008 Beijing Powder Week” was held in Beijing China, including International Forum on Powder Technology & Application from April 1 to 2, as well as 2008 China Powder Industry Exhibition, National Conference on Powder Processing and Application from April 3-5.

During 2008 China Powder Industry Exhibition, Mr. Tao Han – Project Manager of Bio & Chemical Department of ITTC was invited to make a presentation entitled “Tsinghua University’s Roadmap of International Technology Transfer” which attracted great interest from the audience. After the presentation, many participants visited ITTC’s booth and learned more about ITTC. Some of them expressed their wish to find the possibility for cooperation in the near future.
