Along with the significant development of biochemical industry, China is coming through a biotechnology revolution in which we need not only to import state-of-the-art technologies from abroad for updating to enforce the competitiveness but also to optimize the commercial value of research achievements by commercializing them locally or transferring Know-how to abroad. As the international tech bridge, our Bio & Chemical Department is mainly dedicated to transferring fermentation and organic synthesis technologies internationally in the field of bio-pharmaceutical, especially for A. P. I., bio-pesticide, bio-agriculture, feedstuff and food additives. Since established in 2003, our team has processed many successful cases and now we are making more efforts for international biotechnology transfer with our experienced professionals and the extensive networks with industry enterprises, research institute and governments.

We operate international technology transfer in the following models:

• Technology Agency - It’s one of the ways to import state-of-art biotechnologies from abroad to China. We have signed agency agreements with some European and American companies who hold commercialized biotechnologies. Taking advantage of our abundant client resources, we are working to launch these technologies into China market and stimulate the final agreements to be signed between the buyers and sellers.
• Technology Trade – It’s a bidirectional technology transfer model. We import biotechnologies from Europe, North America and South Korea while export packaged and integrated Chinese commercialized technologies to India, Middle East and other countries after market research and screening by our professionals.
  
• Licensing - We not only license out the biotechnologies developed by Tsinghua University but also help our clients including pharmaceutical manufacturers, research institutes to license out their technologies as a middleman. Besides, we license in the most promising biochemical technologies with great market value after patent investigation and market research, and then sell them to large pharmaceutical manufacturers or chemical groups who need bio-solution to reduce their cost and pollution.
  
• Technology Investment -We have been concerning innovative and breakthrough biotechnologies and willing to invest in the technology development process. The cycle of investment will not be completed until a technical process is commercialized through technology transfer.

• Client Resources - We have established close cooperation relationship with many productive enterprises in the field of biomedicine in China, among which about 200 enterprises have signed cooperation agreements with us. Meanwhile, we have abundant client resources in India, South Korea and other regions. Now we are developing new international channels for exporting our technologies to more foreign countries.
• Channel Resources - We have kept good relationship with bio-industrial institutions home and abroad, including universities, research institutes, engineering companies, bio-information companies, overseas technology transfer organizations. Based on these channels, we scout our technologies worldwide and designate some organizations as our technology agency; for example, we signed agency agreements with BIOASET of India, Giant Trading of South Korea and other companies to promote our biotechnologies to abroad.
  
• Technology Resources - Now we have more than two hundred biotechnologies available for transfer. Every year, we develop 20-30 new fermentation and synthesis biotechnologies according to market demands.
  
• Brand Resources - We have established high reputation and trust in the field of technology transfer in China after five years of hard work. We are always the first choice for the domestic enterprises that need to update their technologies or invest in new bio-projects. Supported by Tsinghua University, we also have extensive pipelines with government and a large number of institutions.
  
• Experts Resources – We have had extensive cooperation with biotechnology institutions and universities, including Tsinghua University, Peking University, Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Fujian Institute of Microbiology. More than one hundred experts can provide technical support for us.
